How much does it cost to get a camera?

I want to buy a camera. Can I just purchase a camera outright?

No. The technology that we use is constantly updated and is expensive. We have developed our camera leasing program to allow our clients to benefit from our newest technology on each and every project at a reasonable price.

What do I get at the end of the project?

You will get your project at 1080p and 270p in .mp4 format. The 270p is suitable for web delivery. You will also get a copy of all of your frames/images so that you can do more substantial editing than we provide. We also offer Blu-ray video discs and video DVDs at an additional cost.

I just got my video. How do I open it?

Many programs open .mp4 files. Quicktime or VLC are popular options.

How do I mount the camera?

Screw it to a wall, clamp it to a post, hang it from the ceiling, whatever you want to do.

What is involved in the installation?

Putting it up. Plugging it in.

Do I need to have an internet connection, computer, etc. to connect the camera to?

No. All you need at the camera location is power and cellular coverage. You will want a computer connected to the internet to view the setup images if possible.

I don't want to install a camera myself. Do you offer installation services?

No. Do it yourself.

I have a project starting in 2 days. Can you overnight a camera?

If we have one, we'll send it. But contacting us sooner is definitely better.

Why can't I click "Buy it Now"?

We want to talk to you and make sure you're getting what you want. We do take Visa and Mastercard, but only over the phone.

How often do I need to visit the location to make sure everything is working?

You need to install the camera and take it down. We use high-speed cellular internet to manage and monitor your camera. You usually don't need to visit the location during the project.

How does the camera capture footage?

Like all other cameras. Through a lens.

How do I check to make sure the footage is what I expect?

We'll show you footage when the camera is installed so you can see if it's Kosher or not.

Who owns the media that is generated?

You do. We like to have use of the media for our marketing, but if you don't want us to use it, just tell us.

What is the focal length of the camera?

Our camera comes standard with an autofocus lens that can go as wide as 28.8mm (Horizontal angle of view is 65 degrees). Our Wide Angle lens can go as wide as 16mm. (Horizontal angle of view is 95 degrees) The camera has a other lens options. Contact us for more info.

How large are the images?

Our high definition frames are ready for 1080p (1920 x 1080). Check out our sample images.

Who makes your image sensors?

We utilize sensors from major professional camera manufactures. We use high quality optics and interchangable autofocus lenses are available as well to help you get the right view.
